Breaking Ground

US Soccer and the Anschutz Entertainment Group broke ground today on the $120 million U.S. Soccer National Training Center on the campus of California Sate University-Dominguez Hills in Carson.
The center will include a 27,000 seat soccer-specific stadium, five training fields and a central building that will house, among other things, locker rooms and offices. There will also be beds for 240 people in a residential campus-like environment, complete with a dining area.

In addition to its use by all USA National Teams, the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer will call the facility home.
