Hello!

I don't know if there is a reason, but I think you should add to this thread the name and pic of players like: Jonathan Dos Santos (Barcelona B), Pablo Barrera (West Ham), Nery Castillo (Aris Salonica), Javier Hernández (Manchester United) and of course Giovani Dos Santos (Tottenham)

Greetings from México

Jonathan Dos Santos comes in at the 90th minute in the Barca/AC Milan CL game. No impact.

Some of the youth.....

Edson Rivera, S.C. Braga, Portugal first division
Ulises Davila, Vitesse, Eredivisie (Netherlands)...Card held by Chelsea
Taufic Gaurch, Espanyol B, Terceda (Spain)

Some names to look out for to make the trip over the pond.....

Marco Fabian, Chivas, Primera (Mexico)
Carlos Fierro, Chivas, Primera
Jorge Espericueta, Tigres, Primera
Marco Bueno, Pachuca, Primera

Fierro, Espericueta, and Bueno were members of the 2011 U17 World Cup winning squad for Mexico. Espericueta won the Silver Ball with Fierro taking home the Bronze ball. Bueno has had a short tryout with Liverpool with another tryout coming in the next month or two.

Keep an eye for Mr. Fierro.....IMO, he is the Real Deal. Fast, great vision, and a strong football IQ. He has impressed me in every game I've seen him play at the youth level for country and senior level for club.

Here is Fabian scoring off of a play started by a sublime pass from Fierro to Arrellano who then passed to Fabian....

Giovanni dos Santos played last night for Spurs reserves vs Shamrock Rovers.

Did ok in the first half.

Really hope he permantly finds a new club soon though. These loans are pointless unless the clubs actually are in a position to buy him.

Fred Rutten "Feyenoord heeft Immers nodig"

John de Wolf “Dat is nou precies de aanjager, het ’etterbakkie’ in het veld dat Feyenoord in dit soort wedstrijden nodig heeft"

He can be amazing and I have seen it first hand. He doesn't have the same mental fortitude that a Chicharito has but his natural talents are undeniable. Let's hope he lands on a team that fits him and he them. He's fun to watch when he's on but frustrating to watch when he is disinterested.

Latest News.....

Giovani Dos Santos being linked with various teams over the winter transfer window. Sevilla, who was the summer suitor, being the most notable. Seems like they don't want to spend what the Spurs want in return. At the moment, Gio is signed through June 30, 2013.

Javier Aguirre has been sacked as technical director of Real Zaragosa.

Chicharito hasn't had the same amazing form of last year. This year has been punctuated by various nicks.

Jonathan Dos Santos looks set to join the full Barcelona squad during the Africa Cup of Nations competition.

Hector Moreno has been rumored to be moving on to bigger things. A very solid defender on a mid-table La Liga team.

Carlos Vela has been showing some class on his loan spell. As long as RvP is at Arsenal however, it is likely he will be sold at some point prior to the end of his contract.

Nery Castillo has essentially been dropped from his club in Greece. An amazing fall for someone that looked like a world beater after the 2007 Copa America where he had moments of absolute brilliance. With the emergence of Chicharito and other young guns at striker coming up the ranks in the Mexican league, it is now or never for Nery at the age of 27.

Maza has been a solid starter for Stuttgart but I haven't been able to catch too many of their games.

Davila has found playing time hard to come by at Vitesse. We'll see how this second half goes.

There were rumors and even Martin Del Palacio wrote that he was gone from Barcelona but it appears that he is there to stay now. I know that he wants to stay badly (his best friend is Thiago) and it now looks like Pep wants to make room for him on the bench. He recently re-signed and all signs point to him staying there for the long-haul.

Totally agree. Great talent. Reason he isn't moving yet IMO is Vergara wants to get more for him when he moves. We won't see a move until he turns 18 because that is when Vergara can cash in.

Gio linked with a move to Bolton. IMO it would be a good move for him. Bolton play nice attacking football.
