Gold Cup

Is anyone alive out there?

Tomorrow, July 17, Mexico vs Colombia. Everybody is waiting for a final between Mexico and the USA, the USA already did their thing to advance to the semis defeating Jamaica 3-1. Colombia hasn't been looking that great, but nonetheless it will be a close game and I hope Mexico comes out victorious.

Fire Lavolpe, now!

This tournament is unofficially over.

FT Mexico 1-2 Colombia.

Awful display by Mexico. Once again Lavolpe showed us why he's a terrible coach. I can just hope that he gets plenty of criticism and that he receives threats that endanger his life, that way he decides to leave the national team and let us good folks live free from his oppression. The guy is mediocre at its best. He doesn't know how to handle a team under pressure.

He did win a Gold Cup, but that's not something that stands out. It was in Mexico...

In Copa America ,we were sent home right after group play and most embarrassangly with a 4 goal differential.

Pathetic display in Confederations. We finished 4th out of 8 teams. And again, we were sent home right after group play.

And now this Gold Cup. Defeated right after group play against a Colombian reserves. If I may recall Colombia was defeated by Honduras and Panama, not necessarily world class teams.

Lavolpe's image is even disgusting to look at. Disgusting creature!

Vote, Hugo Sanchez.

He is a winner.

Maybe there's only one positive. The US can now feel comfortable in taking this tournament and not worry about Mexico. I somehow feel embarrassed because the USA was waiting for us to be the ones to defeat them in final.

You think Hugo Sanchez should get the job? I'd object to that, mainly because I like Pumas...

Well, we're the CONCACAF Champs, I just wish we could've beaten Mexico.

Definetely.

He's the only one capable of taking us out of this misery.

You will be the CONCACAF champs, just destroy Honduras and the other team in the final. Remember, Mexico won the 2003 Gold Cup.

True, he didn't showed that well this past season.

Hugo Sanchez as a coach has done more than many of the coaches currently in Mexico.

Hugo Sanchez in 10 seasons has 2 Mexican league titles and a Super Copa.

Lavolpe has only one pathetic league title in 20+ seasons. That's pathetic and mediocre.

We need to get rid of Lavolpe before he keeps infesting his awful futbol in Mexico. Lavolpe has stated publicly there's no talent in Mexico (that alone should be enough to get rid of him). Lavolpe is known to have humiliated his players in his club teams, treating them like garbage. Only certain people have stepped up to his cruelty, most notably the most talented players, whose jobs are secured, such as Blanco, Hugo Sanchez himself, among many others.

Our dreams rely on Hugo Sanchez, he has a winning mentality.

It's nasty.

Just today, Ruben Omar Romano, a coach from the Mexican league, was kidnapped. His vehicle was found and apparently there were approximately 5 gun shots in the crime scene. Up until now, nobody knows anything about the coach.

Unbearable.
