Match topic: Olympiakos - Roma

Another glorious night for Greek football ahead. What's your predictions?

In my opinion, Roma is going to kill the fish Valencia-style.

(And is there anything better than seeing Sollied squirm and spit out excuses at the press conference after every defeat? )

I don't think that the game will be like the one with Valencia.
Imo both teams are going to score the maximum two goals.
So 0-1 or 1-1 is the most probable for me.

Its Olympiakos so a late collapse is on the cards. Gavros will score around the 55th minute but give up an equalizer in the 85th.

1-1 kai tou xronou pali

Let's see Roma's formation first.
They have many players injured and many doubtful.

Let'a also see Olympiacos formation.
Sollied is in a dilemma between Ouaddou and Cesar.If Ouaddou plays things are better for Roma.

Olympiacos have never played against Roma in an official match.
A friendly only back in 1999 in Rome that ended 6-1 (Choutos had scored in that match for Roma ).
Last time Olympiacos won an Italian team at home was back to 1979 against Napoli on knock-out round of Uefa.

Olympiacos against Italian Clubs (home and away):
4 wins, 3 draws, 10 loses. (worst one the 7-0 at Delle Alpi )

Borja should have cut it back to Okkas there. Only 1 shot from both sides in the second half, if anything it should be 0-0 but thats the most Oly deserve. Bad performance

Giasou re file......

Seriously, I mean Olymbiakos have been in Europe for over a decade, numerous coaches, players, prospects, a few surprise results here and there, alternative stadiums...yet the same old story...Why is it that you guys just can't scrape wins in Europe?

A few surprises such as that TREMENDOUS night, I think it was Eleftheropoulos vs. Real Madrid once pulled off some spectacular saves in a 0-0 draw. Then you go play away to some crap team and get beat 5-0. ANd why is Nikopolidis still in goal?! How old is he? 50??

Kali teekhee for next game.....

Don't lament the treachery of time;
long have dogs danced over the carcasses of lions.

Don't suppose that their dancing raises them above their masters;
for dogs remain dogs, and lions remain lions.

Insult me as you wish;
For my silence to the depraved is a response.

It's not that I have no response, but;
A lion does not reply to a dog.

Don’t get me wrong, but it is.
Roma played better and deserved their win.
Olympiakos played football for just 20 minutes in the first half and well, that’s it.
