Panathinaikos-V-AEK

Less than a week to go til the first big derby of the season. Victor Munioz' first league game in charge of PAO and what a fixture to have it in. Hopefully we see a big crowd and a win for PAO

Nobody should expect miracles from Munoz yet. It's gonna be an interesting game. PAO can win this, lets hope so.
What's going on with Victor? Are we gonna see him before Christmass? Are we gonna see him at all?? Well..something wasn't told here, was it?.. :rollani:

If the fantastic defencive trio of Vyntra, Morris, and Darlas all start AEK will score at least two.

Last report i heard on Victor is that he is around 80% fit and working hard in training. He knows Munoz well and he realises if he does'nt give it all in training he wont play at all..

PAO management are expecting 50,000 to go to the game! Lets hope for a fantastic atmosphere like last season with another great tifo show from GATE13..

80%!!?

FFS he was 80% two weeks ago! It just seems that these reporters are pulling numbers out of their assholes.

These reporters do their ''job'', which is to tell the people what the management wants everybody to know. Victor was finally about to make his debut against Scoda Ksanthi. Of course this didn't happen and it was told he'll appear against PAOK. Not again..So then they kept saying that the medical team waited the 20days break for Victor to catch up and be totally ready. They said he was going to be ready for matches against Hapoel and AEK. Now it's told that Victor isn't about to play in any of these two games! It's obvious Victor had a problem serious enough, also it's obvious nobody tells the truth. I don't know what's gonna happen in this case, if Victor plays sometime in the future and thumbs us, but so far the management and the ''yesmen'' reporters are a total joke :irritate:

The game is officially delayed from Sunday to Monday, so I expect less people to come.

Ivic is out for a month after yesterday's injury.
So no game for him on Monday.
Bovio is also doubtful for Panathinaikos game against Hapoel but he most probably make it for the derby.

1-1 at the half. PAO played better but I can see them getting a man sent off.

A fair win for AEK, considering the fact that there was only one team in 2nd half. Despite that they scored 2 goals with one chance and did nothing more in the entire game.
I don't think anyone can criticize this match, as it was obvious that the Pana players can't maintain their physical shape more than 50-55 minutes.
In 1st half Pana was much better, created the chances to score more than once, but scored only once. AEK had the luck (usual) of quick responce with the penalty, without doing nothin' at all.
After 55' the match was obviously over and we watched a ''walk in the park'' for AEK, as the 'yellows' had the powers to easily pass the ball to each other and the 'greens' couldn't even press and just watched.
AEK wasn't anything special, my opinion is that, if Pana had the strength to play 2 halfs, they would've lost at least 3-1. But they are in much much better shape, due to the work their coach has done.
Ferrer is an excellent coach who has done much work 5 months now, on the other side Munoz is also a great coach, but he isn't David Copperfield.
He's got a lotta work to do and patience is needed.
The target noway must be the title, but first to build a good team. The others will come. If the loss of the title is considered a failure, then more black days are about to come.

Spot on. Our players are fit enough to play 60 mins max at the moment. The results of Backe's summer training camp, Munoz can fix things tho. I back him 10000%

Aside from the first 20 minuts PAO was nowhere to be seen. We had almost 70% possession at the end of the FIRST HALF ALONE. Regardless muniez (SP?) looks to be a good coach, and this PAO squad can defenitly take points of the gavri.
