I wouldn't say that. Obviously it's not the best thing to fire a coach after 4 games, but in the ''PAO case'' it's different.
The club is ten years away from success, away from nice performances, from anything nice at all. There's no patience in the fans anymore. After 10 years nobody can say ''the team needs time'',meaning one,two or three years for the team to be built.
What it needs is a great coach, with history and experiences, to lead. And if the first results are not good, it'll be ok, if this man brings you the feeling that he works propertly and has the ability to make a nice team. In that case you can give time.
But look what Backe has done so far. It's not the results we're talking about, it's just everything else.
What would you expect from a coach who:
-Works on a system in the entire preparation and changes that after the first defeat??
-Doesn't says even a word, doesn't stand up once, during 90' when his team sucks?? (he doesn't speak even in the trainings!)
-Replaces (or not even starts) his best player in these games (Romero) with a defender(!!!!), with his team chasing the score???
-Says he is happy(!!!) for team's performance in first half after a disaster tie against an Ukrainian village???
-Is not able to enforce discipline
-Has not given the team NOT ONE automatism.
With all these i don't mean that Backe is definitely a bad coach. Afterall his recommendations were excellent. But he surely doesn't match to Greece and isn't the coach to give everybody the insurance for a better future.
