Official: Schedule for 2008 Euro Qualifiers

02/09/2006: Moldova - Greece
06/09/2006: -
07/10/2006: Greece - Norway
11/10/2006: Bosnia - Greece
24/03/2007: Greece - Turkey
28/03/2007: Malta - Greece
02/06/2007: Greece - Hungary
06/06/2007: Greece - Moldova
08/09/2007: -
12/09/2007: Norway - Greece
13/10/2007: Greece - Bosnia
17/10/2007: Turkey - Greece
17/11/2007: Greece - Malta
21/11/2007: Hungary - Greece

It's not an easy schedule, especially looking towards the end. But with a run of good form and some luck, first 7 games could be wins (I dont' mean of course we'll win all 7 of them, but they are realistically winnable). Then we can go to the hard away games and play for two results.

A strong start is very important. No **** ups in Moldova of course, and we can take it from there.

I don't like it, kind of similar to the WC 2006 one also. But you are right, we have the potential to win the first 7 games. Looking at the teams though, it would be a real shame if we don't finish in the top 2.

I like it.
A good start is very important, and with that schedule is possible.

The Turkish plan for Euro 2008:

[SIZE="1"]AEK 2007/2008=REAL Champions win on the field, not in the courts. Euro 2004 champs. Eurobasket 2005 and 1987 champs. FIBA WC 2006 Silver Medal. FIBA WC U19 Gold Medal 1995. Non-qualification equals no progressAlexander

That might be their plan, but we have the champion of it in Karagounis!

It's pretty accurate though. Although it does fail to illustrate the diving and the general nastyness before, during and particularly after the game.

The turkish national team and their clubs are renound for "simulation".Although Turksih home games are very scary it doesnt seem to provide good results when it really matters after not qualifying for 2 tournemounts.I totally disagree to turkish hooliganism and their way of supporting their teams.Especially as i have memories of the infamous Leeds utd vs Galatasary matches in 2000 where the galatasary fans brought shame on themselves

It is really unfair to accuse a single nation for simulation as the majority of players engage in it. Strangely enough, while Greek players are generally really prone to diving, they seem to reduce it for the national team - maybe Rehhagel is being "old-style".

As for the stabbings, it's blatantly unfair to accuse all turkish fans, or all Galatasaray fans for the actions of a couple of individuals.
