Greece vs. Guus' Green & Gold Army.

Anything in your media about it? It was just on SBS a few minutes ago that the FFA are planning to organise a friendly sometime in the early parts of next year.

Makes sense from a Greek standpoint as theyve been talking about having a tour of Australia to let the Greek-Australians see the team for some time now.

For some reason I hope not! My loyalties will REALLY get torn.

So suddenly you qualify for a WC and you've got divided loyalties? Bastard.

Well, don't think it's a very good idea flying all the way over there so we can have our asses handed to ass on a plate by the Aussie boys and give the Greek immigrants over there something to be laughed about for the next 10 years.

Wouldn't say suddenly mate. Always followed football in Oz like I have in Greece. Nothing unusual there me thinks.

Have to agree with that. USA 94 springs to mind, never mind tours by paok and aris over the years.

I think all the games will be played here in Europe. Guus doesn't want to lose that much time by flying Down Under, while all the players are playing here in Europe.

I love them both can't help it. Though I've always said Oz 51-49.

It's going to be an interesting game for sure.
Otto must use the new team against Australia.
No more Fyssas, Kapsis, Zagorakis, Vryzas etc.

Not surprised. What was so special about this guy I don't know.

Doesn't he have a bum knee?

I predict a 3-0 win for Greece. Our striking problems will end now that we got Mantsios not to mention Gianakopoulos is starting to find he's form now. As for Charesteas and Karagounis I don't know. They need to start playing better but I think it will be fairly easy for them to shoot a goal right past the Australian defenders and goal keeper. Papadopoulos is class when it comes to scoring goals. Mantsios is realy realy good. In fact he might be one of our best strikers. Anyways I realy hope our goal scoring problem will be fixed soon. Howevor the Australians are certainly improved. Our defence can match them though but if our striking problems is fixed then this game will be fairly easy.
