Very nice if this will happen

The current stadium of Bruges is very outdated.

Also Anderlecht is working hard for a new stadium

There are 2 options for them:

1. Playing in a new stadium (50.000 places) and divide it with the national football team
2. Expand their stadium and build a third ring (21.500 ---> 30.000+ places)

Probably, it will be the first option. Also the best option.

The Koning Boudewijn Stadion to be knocked down?

2 new stadiums in Brugge next to each other would be something. Would be better for Cercle as it must be depressing playing in a far too big stadium. Only wonder if they'll do it in the end with the costs.

Antwerpen also needs a new stadium. Hasselbaink's lot play in an antique stadium. The place really is falling apart but I don't know if the city council's priority lies in ever building a new stadium despite architects coming up with drawings every other year.

John de Wolf “Dat is nou precies de aanjager, het ’etterbakkie’ in het veld dat Feyenoord in dit soort wedstrijden nodig heeft"

It will be a great improvement for both. Playing for 7.000-8.000 people in a stadium of 30.000 is a bit silly indeed.

Cercle won't invest anything for the new stadium. Their stadium will be property of the city Bruges. It will be a multifunctional stadium.
