Georges Leekens resigns as NT coach

Georges realized just in time he has no clue how to manage a talented team, thank god.
Most probable successors (imo) are Wilmots and f*cking Jacobs so I guess we'll never be able to see the true potential of this team
I wouldn't mind to see Van Haezebrouck or Bob Peeters on the bench to be honest, Van Haezebrouck because he has the balls to play a 3-4-2-1 (Napoli style) and Peeters for the lulz

also fvck Gerets and Preudhomme, but especially Gerets

Good to see him go. Didn't get the results with this topmaterial and like before in the past he shows that he can't make any long term commitments.

No replacement yet?

The Napoli formation sounds ideal for the players to Belgium's disposal. Strong in the centre of defence etc

Assistent-coach Wilmots is coaching the team now, Gerets could still be sacked by Marocco and he has shown interest in the job.

Wilmots will keep the job till the WC in Brazil. To me it doesn't look like he will be the man to bring them there as well.

And i was tipping them to come top of the qualifying group of death alm:

They have the individuals but do they have the team work/mentality?

Bad decision but anything is better as Leekens.

Leekens now also sacked as coach of Club. They started well, but hardly won a game the last two months. Never liked him so good to see him fail again.

Club will to pay him 2,5m euros lol if they're to pay out his whole 3 year contract.

No wonder Club hasn't won anything for a few years

Leekens can only don one thing: overachieve with mediocre to weak teams (and he's very good at that, probably the best in Belgium)

Give him a talented side, and it all goes wrong. He sucked with the talented Red Devils last year, but did much better with a much weaker national team in 1998. Likewise with Club Brugge now.

Goodbye George, you're the weakest link
