Belgian Teams in the EL and CL 2011-2012

Quote:

seems a good draw for westerlo IMO

well done westel

and this is the draw for the CL

Quote:

Derde voorronde kampioenenspoor:
RC Genk - Partizan (Ser)/Skendija (Mac)
Mogren/Litex - Skonto/Wisla
Maccabi/Borac - Maribor/Dudelange
Helsinki/Bangor - Dinamo Zagreb/Neftchi
Skenderbeu/HAPOEL - Bratislava/Kostan
Rosenborg/Breidablik - Pyunik/Pilzen
Zestafoni/Dacia - Sturm Graz/Videoton
Valletta/Ekranes - Linfield/Bate
Glasgow Rangers - Malmö/Torshavn

Derde voorronde niet-kampioenenspoor:
Standard - Zürich (Zwi)
Twente (Ned) - Vaslui (Roe)
Benfica (Por) - Trabzonspor (Tur)
Dinamo Kiev (Oek) - Rubin Kazan (Rus)
Odense (Den) - Panathinaikos (Gri)

Don't forget to mention Westel, they get Young Boys Bern if they advance, a tough one too. Genk should be able to advance although it's very difficult to play there in Serbia, for Standard it will be difficult too, without Witsel and perhaps Dufour/Carcela...

Hello there, I'm fan of Partizan Belgrade.
I think that we didn't have luck at Nyon draw last friday, because there were few very weaker sides than Genk, but we like to play as underdogs
I think that this will be very close encounter, and also if we manage to get good result, or lose to 1 goal in Belgium, it will be very very interesting match here in Belgrade.
Cheers, and here is some videos of our fans that will support our team on 2/3 August

Well I can tell you this that Karabakh is 2-ce year on row reached play off level, where they lost to Twente - which become in that season Dutch champion, and Borussia - which is also become German champion. The club beat sides like Wisla Krakow, Rosenborg and Honka.

Karabakh is best side in Azerbaijan, that plays very dangerous football, even though club needs forwards as we got issues we that. However, this season even though we killed Lithuanian Banga side 7-0 on aggregate, they weren't impressive for me as last year. But who knows, they are saving their powers for Brugge

thanks for the info my friend. It could be a close call then

Westel is true to the next round after 0-0 at home against inter Turku.

Their next oponent will be Young Boys Bern

Genk played really bad last night, altought managed to win, from almost one shot on goal
That's football, i can't wait for the return game here in Belgrade, but from "football side" I can't see result right now. Everything is possible, even if in my opinion Partizan iz slightly in advance, we proved that won game can be lost. Respect to our fans and my friends for support in Belgium, didn't have cash for trip
What do you think about the game, and about Partizan side?

Just saw a small summary on TV but honestly I can't see Genk going through. In Belgrade they probably will be crushed by Partizan.

I think so too.

I have not seen the whole match due to no broadcast on belgian tv, and the wireless internet at my girlfriend's is crap so the stream was horrible.

So had to do with the tv summary of 2 minutes.

Of what I have seen Genk will not go trough, they were pretty weak, more chances for Partizan.

If they play like yesterday I see Partizan score 3 goals, Genk away is weaker then genk at home.

But then again, the game has to be played.

Perhaps the media in Serbia have praised Genk too much, but I still think it's a very good team, and I do not think Partizan is huge favorite in the rematch as you think, and honestly to admit I'm surprised your words of Genk, because I expected people in Belgium and media too to favorize Genk big...
What I can promise you is a spectacle from our supporters' side, and I expect a very uncertain game.
We have very emotional connection with our loved club, and it will be very hurtfull to see Partizan not going through.

Well it depends on how clueless the ref is for the return but Genk will be going through.

I am myself a fan of Royal Antwerp Football Club, they play in the 2nd League. So I am a more neutral viewer of belgium football atm.
Genk is a pretty good team tho, but a very small squad, and I fear that they will lose the return.
And I am as a neutral been disapointed many times in belgian teams i nEurope. So I already have a negative tought about results of teams in europe... to avoid dissapointment.

But I think Partizan is in quality better
by the way I like your supporters a lot
Lots of fireworks and so on
