Marko Suler

Apparently Celtic are preparing to bid for Marko Suler in the January transfer window.

What info can you guys give me on him? We're badly in need of a good, solid central defender in our side at the moment.

I find him solid
his stats

106 matches for AA Gent if I am not mistaken and five goals and one assist, he is not a bad defender, pretty solid, is never Man of the match, but also never the worst one on the pitch.

Altho this is what I think of seeing him play in summary's of Belgian highest division
I'm more into the 2nd Division

Thanks.

Also, can anyone tell me what kind of personality Suler is? As well as being short on good defenders, we're also missing strong leaders in our team - captain type figures who have a strong personality on the field. Does Suler fill that type of role for his team?

I have tried to look some summary's up last night, but I think due to the snowfall my internet went nuts. Surfing on 500bits per second, is slower then a turtle on valium

but from what I can tell, he doesn't look much like a talker, he doesn't talk that much, but in a way he is a leading figure, on the way he clears the ball, and works on the pitch.
But I doubt he could become an leading figure in a team like Celtic. But I could be wrong, I'm forced to rely on summary's and they don't tell enough about that aspect.
So this is based on my opinion
He is pretty secure, so he can become a nice transfer if you sign Marco

Thanks for the info, guys.

From what i've heard i don't think i'd be too overly enthusiastic if we did sign him. The fact that he probably isn't considered Celtic material is usually a surefire sign that he's going to sign for Celtic these days!
