Terrible, just terrible. As most KVO fans, I always considered Club Brugge as a rival, but that is totally unimportant. Football is a game, and this sort of news puts the whole game in a totally different perspective. Regardless of the team he represented, a young man with a whole life in front of him has died and the only word that suits here is "tragedy".
RIP Francois and my sincerest condolences to his family and friends and to all Club Brugge fans.
I hope the fans of other teams (including the strongest rivals of FCB) will adopt the minute of applause and give him a suitable goodbye. Hopefully the fans of the rivals of FCB will all realise that this is a bit more serious than some football rivalry and hopefully the whole D1 will respect a minute of silence or applaus.
It is weird, this guy was younger than me. To have to die at age 26 with so many great things still ahead of him... Life is unfair. You don't wish this to nobody.
