'fan-friendships'

Kind of discovered a while ago the so called fan-friendship between Cercle Brugge and FC Liege...

Here look at the right

Was just thinking, which other strong ones do exist in Belgium / Belgian fans included?

As for the rest I only know of the Club Brugge - ADO - Juve - Legia one but that's more a hooligan-friendship I think .

Any more?

I think fan friendships in general are, sorry, stupid. Let anyone support whoever he wants rather than trying to artificially tie clubs to each other. Oostende has no big ties with other clubs and neither has Rosenborg (although some Maccabi Haifa and Steaua fans still visit our forums after we met them in Europe). If ties would exist, I couldn't care less. I am not even interested with whom and rather choose for myself what clubs I like and what clubs I don't like.

Like you said, the FCB-Den Haag-Legia-Juventus band is well known in the world. It isn't as strong as it used to be, but still every year Bruges and The Hague fans visit each other

Rsc* fans have a tie with Ajax, and several Standard fans go to Den Bosch games

This 'friendship' isn't that strong anymore. It's like you said about the FCB - Den Hague link. It used to be much stronger.

Apart from that MauvesArmy (an 'atmosphere' group ) has a link with Lyon. Some time ago a bunch of Lyon fans visited the game against Hapoel.

I thought Geel has something with Fortuna Sittard, but I'm not a 100% sure of it.

Fortuna Sittard and Fortuna Dusseldorf have a tie. I have a scarf with both club names on. Not that I like these clubs but I collect football scarves so I accept any scarf of any club that people offer me.

The Standard-Den Bosch connection is true.

And doesn't have Mouscron something going on with RC Lens?

Agree with your first post Crackedpleasures, bit still it's an interesting topic I think .

For some reason in my first post I forgot to mention some Belgian-Dutch 'friendships' like RC Mechelen - FC Dordrecht and Antwerp - Feyenoord.
There also is a KV Mechelen - Roda? Or doesn't this one exist anymore?

About Fortuna Sittard and Düsseldorf, first time I hear it... I know some Düsseldorfer visited VVV games but VVV got more with Uerdingen and as well with Geel... although all these aren't too strong.

From the Bosuil...

As a Feijenoord fan I can tell you that the biggest part of Het Legioen laughs at Antwerp

That's what you get when they see a Feijenoord flag in the one stand, and a jewish flag in the other :rollani:
