Interesting to see Maarten Martens in the selection. I wonder if he is chosen for the left wing.

Good selection but what use does it have when you line-up the wrong players and use the wrong tactics? Also dissapointing to see that there dont seem to be any real wingers.

Good to see Fellaini in the sqaud though.

At least Goor won't screw things up. Kinda sick of seeing Mpenza also. We know Belgium can't score, why not try a different striker? Any ideas? Shit, give Sterkele' a shot!

Not that I disagree, but we did play against the Czechs, you know.

Try to incorporate more African players into your team, and btw if it wasn't for Goor you wouldnt have qualified for the only championship you made since 1994. His theatrics to send off Repka were despicable.

The only championship since 1994? Really?

France-Argentina and England-Spain were also being played on so I zapped in and out of the Belgians. As far as I can tell we sucked once again - not that anyone expected otherwise - and the pitch looked like a potato field which is not helping either. Vandereycken is taking everyone down with him. :rollani:

PS: Kudos to Gaby Mudingayi, he always does well it seems.

Yeah, the pitch was horrible.
And to think we were complaining about the field in Kazachstan. The one in Brussels is even worse. The display was pretty much what we can expect from the NT the past 5 years. Utterly horrible.

Only positive note I remembered from last night was Fellaini and chances are he'll eventually play for Morroco. :rollani:

That's weird my memory seems to be letting me down, because I could have sworn we also won the return in Prague 1-0. :embarass:
Sorry mate perhaps you've been living under rock untill the Czech Republic became independant in 93, but Belgium qualified for all 6 WC's from 1982 to 2002.
