Aime strikes again

ANTHUENIS DENKT AAN WESTERLO-VETERANEN
***************************************
Aimé Anthuenis heeft de ervaren krij-
gers Ronny Gaspercic (36), Nico Van

jongeren (Evens of Van Imschoot) eens
een kans zouden krijgen", zegt Wim Van
Hove, lid van de beheerraad.

Oh boy...:irritate:

When I first read it I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

On the next selection Jefke Delen and Mario Verheyen?
Evens on the belgian left-back? Well he's not much worse than Deschacht.

According to Aimé; Nico Van Kerkhoven was too old for the NT 4 years ago and know he's suddenly back NT-material?
And then I'm not talking about Chris Janssens (on both the quality as age-aspect).. EURO 2008 here we come.

Crap! Didn't this guy leave already?????? Damn, he wants to go out in style I guess, losing 0-3 at home. No trust in the younger generation is going to kill us.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused Beerschot-fan. Are you calling Gaspercic, Van
Kerckhoven and Janssens youngsters?

He recently had surgery and is probably out until around Christmas time.

I'm guessing a 2-1... The Spanish behave pretty arrogant lately, which is not their style normally. I think they're afraid

I think Emile and Mbo will rock We have Buffel coming from midfield, and Goor too so that's good. Only Vanderhaeghe is a problem of course. But it's the first time in a very long time that I think that Antheunis has picked the best team available. Only a real shame that Kompany doesn't play, that could be decisive factor.

Also the Red Devils have always played pretty well in last chance games (Czechia, Croatia,...)

Fingers crossed

BTW Belgium's 21NT gave the example. They beat the young Spaniards, 1-0. Decisive goal by Thomas Vermaelen
