Bosnia-Hercegovina vs Belgium

First off, is there anyone out there who still believes in qualification for the world cup? :eekani:

I do!

Apparently Emile Mpenza is doubtful for the game. He's got an infection on the underleg (free translation ) and had to undergo surgery saturday night.

Losing him would be another dissappointment of course, especially now his brother Mbo is kicking it large at the Constant Of The Stick these days .

I do hope Bosnia tries to make the game and struggles to get past a well organised defense and we can score a lucky goal 23 minutes into the 2nd half.

My team:

------------------------------Proto

Cornelis----------Kompany------------V.Buyten----------V.Damme

Vanden Borre-------------Simons-Vanderhaeghe or Gaby---Daerden
----------------------------Geraerts

--------------------------Mbo

We just take a double defensive line and put Mbo up front. The guy scores everything nowadays so a loss is out of the question.

Help me, Jeebus!!!

We will probably lose this game since 6 of our players cannot play.

Don't worry, Bungi, you're still playing Belgium so everything's possible .

Clement is injured and won't play as well.

Lebowski, do you prefer Geraerts above Buffel?

It is but when you do not have Salihamidzic and Baljic, plus the super-fast Beslija, it's tough.

For the moment, yes, althought they play in a different position. But I do believe Buffel has more potential. I just want to see Geraerts as a fixed starter for the NT. I really like his attitude and his style of play.

Terrible midfield, terrible subs and no guts until the 1-0. Oh and a big thank you to Van Buyten for giving Barbarez such a hard time. The only thing you missed was a Sven Nys-style wink to the camera afterwards. Otherwise it would have been perfect.:rollani:

Just came back from the BBQ. Later on the night somebody told me we lost 0-2 and still a few hours and beers later somebody said 0-3. So actually I'm glad it was only 0-1.

Can't say I'm really dissapointed. Because nowhere in this campaigne I had the feeling qualification was in it for us. We messed it up from day 1.

"I never knew my birth parents. There was a car accident. my birth mother was incinerated, and I only survived because her smoking carcass had formed a protective cocoon of slaughtered human effluence. A Belgian man and his fifteen year-old love slave were looting the accident scene, came across a blood soaked baby, moi, and they raised me to be evil."

You were lucky today. Proto saved at least four 100% chances.

I am very dissapointed with the result. I had the impression we were getting our act together a bit in the last couple of matches and now we get something like this.

Anthuenis should resign himself although I think he'll rather choose for the money than his honour.

But cheer up, we can still support Australia now, can't we?
