I think your Worst XI would be considered clear favourites in a match against your Best XI.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

You would think so, but they were all garbage during the tournament.

I was thinking of calling the team "Most dissapointing XI", but that's pretty much a nice way of saying "Worst XI".

You chose Henry in your worst 11 but he still scored during the tournament...
Might be not that hard finding a forward who didn't even score...

Well, the main striker for every other team scored (except for Italy and Poland, which is why those players are in the worst XI), and a player of Henry's quality should have performed much better than he did at EURO 08. He should have easily had at least 3 goals at the tournament but he didn't finish his chances.

EDIT: holy crap, I completely forgot about Gomez who was WAY worse than Henry.

He played in 3 games all tournament as he was rested vs. Poland.

1. Croatia vs. Austria
- scored game winning goal
- only player who stood out from a poor Croatian performance

2. Croatia vs. Germany
- won man of the match even though he had no goals or assists
- most effective player on offense and defense from either side

3. Croatia vs. Turkey
- assisted the late Croatian goal
- controlled the midfield

I could go on with how good his performance was, but it probably will do no good since only a biased fool would make a comment like the one you posted.

If you are going to comment on a player, it would make sense to actually watch them play first. However, I would expect nothing less from the 2007 Troll of the Year.

Coming from the guy who wrote this when referring to Modric, Rakitic, and Kranjcar (This also explains his jealousy of not having a player like Simunic on the Portuguese NT):

who? who? and who?

Croatia are a blip in world futebol radar. nothing. I remember before the World Cup they were saying they were going to create another 1998 and demolish the likes of Australia....what happened? the ultimate humiliation, knocked out by Australia and arguably the most hilarious incident in the entire tournament in Josip Simunic who was BORN IN AUSTRALIA....got trained to play in AUSTRALIA and still cheated his country and then decided to play for Croatia gets 3 yellow cards in the match and is sent off. Justice. Pure justice.
Kranjcar was garbage, but Ronaldo was 15 times worse at the tournament. True choke artist, just as I predicted.

Do you know of them now? Didn't I tell you we had a superior midfield then your National Team? Croatia controlled Germany through their midfield play, Germany had no problems shutting down your midfield players except for Deco who had a good game. Everybody else was invisible, all jokes.

Also, it's funny how 2 of your best players in the tournament were BRAZILIAN, with no Portuguese blood, yet you say it's wrong for Simunic to play for Croatia.

Debate over.

Worst:

Greece plus Krzynówek, Gómez and Simao for just being so frustratingly awful.

I'd pick Xavi over Fabregas tbh.

ignorant fool, goals scored/assists by Ronaldo are officially worth 1/1000 of that scored by other players, the only reason why World Player of the Year award is still even up for debate.

Um mate, do you wanna have a bit of a rethink there? I hardly think that Pranjic and Van Bronckhorst would make the most effective centre back pairing. Pepe at right back probably wouldn't be wise either now would it?
