Spain, the next Golden Team?

If they win this Euro it would give them a majour trophy and over 20 games unbeaten. Their skill level is amazing and I might be stretching but this could very well be the Magical Magyars part 2.

If they don't win, it's going to be a major disappointment. Easily the most talented team on paper.

Hungary's Golden Team btw holds the record for the longest unbeaten run. 33 games.

Too early to talk Spain up, they need to win the final and even after that the team needs to maintain its humility as well as the squad togetherness. Who knows what the RFEF plans after Luis, there is talk of Del Bosque which is good I guess, but also talk of old players returning and such, which I'm unsure about. I think right now Spain need to keep there head on the ground and focus on victory on Sunday before anything else can be said or done, right now they don't have anything to show for the football and victories. But hopefully Sunday cwill see that change :hopeful:

No way...

They struggled against the Russians in the 1st half, they struggled against the Italians as well. Their group was also one of the easiest in this tournament. Lets see how they do against Germany.. their team on paper is definitely not the best in the world.

I think you're too overwhelmed because they scored like 7 goals against Russia..

Holland impressed me more other than their horrible quarter-final match. They played some truly beautiful football in their group stage

Argentina? Why? Because they have Messi?
France? Sorry, they are History.
Holland? OK, that's debatable.
Portugal? Yeah right, they have such a great goalkeeper and strikers.
England? OK, that is debatable as well, but not as much as Holland.

France are shit.

England are shit.(They didn't even make it despite an easy group).

Portugal and Holland in ATTACK may be just as good, but their defense has been HORRIBLE...

Argentina are a great team but what have they done recently to be called better than Spain???...:dielaugh:

Xavi, Iniest, Cesc, Torres, Villa, Silva, Ramos, Cassilas, Gueza, Puyol.

Romania was the last team that beat them.

0-1 in Cadiz. November 2006.
