Zanetti : I still remember my first day at Inter. I arrived with a plastic bag with my boots inside and I crossed the crowd of fans who were asking who I was. That's where it all started.....

Ossie did you watch the match in the Bernabeu, I don't think I am exxagerating when I say that was one of the most majestic performances I saw from any side in recent times. Heck I put the match on DVD just to keep watching it, but knowing Spain they'll probably falter now . But I do think if they play anything like what they did in the home qualifier they will win and with some style :hopeful:

Dont remind me Arfy...

The world was in order again yeah after that game. Spanking to say the least, but heck it doesnt ruin the awesome first game. Allbäck toying with Puyol and Casillas, that whole build up, and Elmander having the second best game of his NT career (his best game was against Denmark in the same qfs) was utterly priceless.

Allbäck and Elmander were stunning in the game in the video.

Should be interesting, neither team plays with midfield wingers, so when the wingbacks inevitably move up there will be space to counter for both teams

This game would've been perfect for Chippen, especially since he would get some space to actually do something. He was good against Greece and has been performing really well ever since that loan to Depor, shame he got injured.

I think Hansson and Mellberg may struggle against Villa and Torres upfront as they both seem to be in good form, especially the first one who's been scoring goals for fun over the last couple of months.

I'd be satisfied with a draw, but you can't go in like that into a game of this importance.

This is going to be a really realllly good game.
I'm with Spain and I think the key to their success is Xavi.

All I really want to see is Ramos scoring and Casillas getting a clean sheet

I think Spain is going to win this. Nonetheless I expect both of them to qualify. But with Holland getting a moral boost and already sure to win their group, I think neither Spain nor Sweden will like the idea of facing them in the next round so to win the group will be quite a demand here.

2-1 Spain is my bet.

PS: what were the results again when they played each other in the qualifiers?

Spain are favorites but to me, they are overrated according to the odds being given, so smart money would be on Sweden.

Should be a great game, as this Euro has been for the most part.

Time for Ibra to show that he can be a big-game player on the international stage (but don't play too well or Inter will be forced to increase your salary!)

Both teams won at home, Sweden with 2-0 in Stockholm while Spain managed to cruise to a 3-0-win after a stunning performance at Santiago Bernabéu.
