I agree with all but Switzerland. I think they looked like they were playing total football compared to France and Italy.

Though I will say this. That was the worst starting XI Donadoni could have picked for Italy. If he actually plays a good one I guarentee you we would be an exciting team. I mean who the hell starts an all Milan midfield after the crap they showed this year. It was disgusting and this was a wake up call for us. I feel like we will come out next game and demolish Romania if Donadoni plays the right line-up. I also think the France-Holland game will be one to remember.

Domenech was also a culprit of playing a lousy starting XI though. Donadoni and Domenech really chickened out here.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Makelele/Toulalan is the least ambitious mid pairing possible.

Honestly, when Makelele was your best offensive player, you were boring.

Makelele's outside boot pass was the stuff of legends.

Claude looks good on the field and off it.

Croatia played a top 30 minutes of football. Austria where rubbish, yes the dictated the rest of the play, there threat was set pieces and long balls, it's certainly not entertaining in a footballing aspect.

I agree. Change that and its pretty much right.

People didnt hope Austria deserved to draw it cuz Croatia only played well for 30 or odd so good minutes..

Actually Germany should be second. Poland was lucky it wasnt 4:0/ 4:1 w/e

I don't think you're grasping the concept here. When you're talking about scorelines and this and that, that's ranking teams from how good they are. This is strictly in terms of excitement, and basically the opposite of boring. This is not whether I felt Austria deserved to score or not. The long ball style isn't very attractive to me, but I still didn't think they were too boring.
