Croatia - Germany

discuss....

i doubt we will change anything in terms of starters.

although what id like to see is this;(i posted this in the cro forum...)

Quote:
Rakitic really needs to be given a shot. i say we play with 5 in the midfield and and a lone striker. clog the midfield deny Germany chances and play on the counter.

id go with this:

-----------------Budan-------------------

-----------------Rakitic

Kranjcar-----Kovac----Modric-----Srna

Simunic----Kovac----Knezevic----Corluka

--------------Pletikosa

Id take Pranjic out for this one and sure up the left side with Simunic. Around 60 min mark id take Kranky or Raketa off and put on Olic to harrass the german defenders. I would not play Vukojevic and N Kovac at the same time. We need to remain attacking in some sense. Also for me Petric is not showing anything and hasnt for a while, he can have a rest

I don't think Bilić will play a lone striker upfront, there will probably be two players upfront and one of them will be Olić, once again. Pranjić isn't a natural LB so it's understandable that he didn't do so well against Austria, but Kranjčar didn't really help him out a lot either.

If we start with Pranjic again, we're going to get crushed. Anyway, I expect a much better perfomance.

Ma question préférée: qu'est-ce j'vais faire de tout cet oseille?

Go Croatia, but it's gonna be tough if you don't raise the level of your game. Germany is a tough nut to crack.

Germany at times can be cocky and underestimating, but if Croatia play like they have the last 4-5 matches even a 50% Germany will win

I said this in Croatia forum and again, Germany are gonna go non stop against whoever whenever. That is their desire. Germany to win it, just cuz they are the favorites.

True, he should be banished for good...Ola has 6-7 goals in 60 matches for the NT but he's going to take us to glory here...

people were saying Ibrahimovic and Torres have a bad scoring record for their countries, Olic is a disaster yet watch him start again....running with his head down doing nothing but pressing

I think this game is either going to be exciting, or extremely dull. Either we see some lively stuff from Croatia, or it's going to be the Germans blasting shots from outside the box all game long like they do.

The Germans will be on their heels and chasing shadows. No one will be calling Germans favorites after this game.

Croatia to play bunker from the 30th minute after they can't run anymore, meaning either Germany runs away with it or the match ends 0:0
