Turkey and Switzerland will go through

mark my words.

I predicted Italy to win the last wc, and manU to win this year's CL. So my words should count for something.

It's not looking good for Turkey. I wouldn't be surprised if we finish bottom to be honest.

Switzerland yes
Turkey no

Though Switzerland seems to have huge injury problems, but they did so well in the World Cup and they are a host nation I can't see them dropping out of the tournament in the groups. I believe the Czechs are a tad over-rated

Portugal and Swiss advance, Czechs miss out, Turkey get a point

Sorry, there's a bit of a difference between choosing Italy to win the World Cup or Man United to win the CL as opposed to picking underdogs to advance from a group. :rollani:

Anyhow, how much are you wagering then?

It's not the strongest group, I'm not impressed with any of the four teams to be honest.

With a little luck either Turkey or Switzerland could make it out. The Czech's are good but not as imposing as they were four years ago in particular, and Portugal isn't playing anywhere near what they should be, even if Scolari isn't picking one or two players as most would hope.

That said, have you even seen Turkey play in the last three years? Fatoş Terim has turned this team into a joke

this is a crazy group to predict tbh. almost as tricky as group c because the home team always throws a wrench into every consideration when predicting. especially when on paper they're not a bad little outfit. that said, i'm going with portugal and the swiss in no particular order.

the czechs are too old and they're minus rosicky & la furia ceca (nedved)

the turks are terribly unpredictable these days.
