Our strikers are better than they were when we went to the finals and semi-finals of the last two tournaments, so I'm not sure reaching such a stage can be considered imploding. Hugo Almeida's a better striker than Pauleta for our 4-5-1/4-3-3 where we need a big, strong target in the box.

If need be Cristiano Ronaldo can easy play as a centre forward in which he has in numerous occasions this for Manchester United and play Nani and on the left.

Unfortunately I don't think so. Scolari still didn't realise that he is currently Portugal's best midfielder and that really sucks.

I doubt it. He probably has the least chance of starting of all the midfielders after Deco, Veloso, Raul Meireles, and Petit. I don't agree with that at all, but it's the likely scenario.

we won't even make it out of the group.

the only good thing is that Moutinho got #10 straight after Rui Costa (edit....Hugo Viana doesn't count...he's sh1t).

forca world class strike force o Gomes and Postiga, ffs!

We were quite poor in qualification. You're already wrong.

So he's basically a wild card inclusion then? Shame, since I was looking forward to seeing how this guy has progressed over the past couple of seasons.

Miguel no longer has any shot at being the starting right back for Portugal. Boswingwa now owns that position.

If Miguel has any chance of starting for his country, it will be at left-back.
