Which young player will shine at Euro 2008?

With every World Cup and Euro there is always a young player which makes a name for himself and sets the tournament alight , which young player do you think will have the most impressive Euro 2008?

IMO i think Miguel Veloso, Luka Modric, Karim Benzema and Samir Nasri will be the most impressive youngsters.

Seriously doubt it with Huntelaar.

Nasri if gets the playing time for sure. Quaresma has the potential to be the best player in the tournament. Weather he does so is another matter.

Benzema seems a good shout at this point in time.

Here is a little hint:
"He's only 17, He's better than Roy Keane."

mind you that is part of a song from a few years back but you can rest assured he still can't wipe back a pint in any American bars yet.:smileani:

Oh yeah and second hint, he belongs to one of the two best teams in the world.

Will he even play when Henry is fit? Doubt it.

Same with Fernando Torres, first name that popped in my head but probably wont be in the starting XI unless Aragones reverts back to two up top.

Apart from that obvioulsy Cristiano Ronaldo. Also I think Modric will have a massive tournament as well as Iniesta.

Front two would be Henry and Benzema though right?

Have they been playing 4-5-1 of late?

I thought they played...

--------------Henry
Malouda------Nasri-----Ribery
---------Vieira---Makelele

I'm not sure though, can't say I've seen France lately.

See I thought they've been playing 4-4-2, Nasri on the bench, with either Saha/Anelka/Benzema up front.

Most likely Modric as he's doing things right all the time at the moment.

Obviously because he's a great talent, is a regular on his NT, also his team relys pretty much on the way he plays, distributes balls etc.

I would say Benzema because he's really good at the moment, but then again, there's still more than 6 months until the whole thing starts while players has to gain top form right before the whole thing starts, timing.

Well before his injury he, Nasri, was quicky becoming the key member of the side, I don't know if he's lost his place after his injury and they've reverted back to 4-4-2.

Their new generation of players is crazy- Ribery, Nasri and Ben Arfa playing behind Benzema. Diarra and Diaby behind them are like the new Vieira and Makelele then they've got the likes of Mexes, Clichy, Sagna etc. in defence.

And if they stop being retarded and start regularly playing Frey, they've got one of the top 5 goalkeepers in the world.

Aye, still pretty young for a goalkeeper as well. Just imagine if they got Wenger into mould this new generation.
