Italy vs France rivalry

without any doubt this two nations are the best footballing nation in europe in the last 10 years!

in last 10 years, france won one world cup,one euro and one world cup final.on the other hand italy won one world cup and one euro final.

I think portugal, holland this nations come after those two. Those two are the big ones. And they are expected to be at the final of euro2008.
They have the best chances of wining the euro2008 title.

Thank you

So what about the rivalry then? We both hate each other in terms of football and I hope Italy give France a good hiding in September

One of them might not make the EURO's. I don't think we will see a rematch of the EURO 2000 final in 2008.

I have no clue who is going to win the tournament, no team at the moment is really outstanding.

They'll both make the tournament, it's just a question as to who will be first. A lot of these teams usually die out during the second half of qualification.

Bah, wether they make it to Euro or not, the 2006 Azzurri are legendary now.(I have to say that so I don't become too depressed if they dont make it )

Besides, France need to have an inch of Italy's trophies to even be considered a rival. Kinda like England and the Argies, they both think they are better than sex with Pamela Anderson and they haven't won much lately.

So much for wins that don't matter, I'm talking trophies here.

if you considere 1 world cup and 2 european cups as nothing, then yes, doesn't matter.
