Group E

The 3rd and last group which'll already kick off this Wednesday with the first game between Estonia and Macedonia

The rest of the group'll look like:

1 Andorra 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
2 Croatia 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
3 England 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
4 Estonia 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
5 FYR Macedonia 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
6 Israel 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
7 Russia 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

England obviously'll be favourites to win the group but for 2nd place, we've got Croatia who haven't done so well lately as they did in 98 but they're always a dangerous side with established players like Kovac and Klasnic. Russia with Guus might spring a few surprises while Israel proved to be no mugs last time in qualifying in Switzerland, France and Irelands group. Even Macedonia aren't a bad side either. Had good results so far under Katanec and they proved against Holland in the last qualifiers that they're a side tough to break down. A lot of surprises could happen here.

My tips still however are England and Croatia

I highly doubt Croatia's credentials to go through, they are very up and and down and amateur.

I also go for England and Russia.

Calling a team liek Croatia amateur is an achievemnt dude. show soem respect. For your info: croatia has never lost an offical game at home. NEVER. True they have an indip team only from early 90s, but that is impressive enough to mount soem respect. Then look at theor record in qualifying for major competitions since 94 and speak again ...

Ok, I apologise for delivering the truth.

And I don't care about their record in friendlies, they always come short in the big tourneys.

yeah but they lost to Australia so that invites a fair bit of ridicule.

It was a draw. 2-2. Anyway England will make it, only just along with Russia.

England hasn't exactly been tearing it up at the big tourny's either and losing to Northern Ireland is pretty funny itself Glass house boys.

It wouldn´t be a big surprise if England don´t qualify. Croatia, Russia, Israel and even Macedonia are dangerous rivals.

I really think we are gonna pull off some upsets and with some luck possibly finish above Israel and who knows maybe Russia too.

Yeah we got two draws vs Holland (we were the only team that they didnt beat in the group p ) but then again we also ****ed up against Andorra and got blown away by Finland twice. I hope Katanec stops this yo-yo lose against teams we are suppose to beat type mentality.

it will be tight, will probably go down to the final games, Israel is a good team but they won't play any home games which is a disadvantage for them

I think all of these 4 teams can finish top 4; England Israel Russia and Croatia. I wont pick who will finish 1st who will finish last, because I hope Macedonia will finish top 2. I think the group is fun with lots of very good teams which makes it one of the hardest and most fun groups to follow. If Israel doesnt play at home they dont have a chance, but if they do they can finish 1-2. England we will see how they play with this new coach and system but they can finish 3rd. Croatia I dont know what to expect either they can finish 1st or 4th. Russia is up-down with a new coach they should start well, but we will see how they finish. Estonia should not do much as well as Andorra.
Finally, Macedonia with their new coach and a few big wins will hopefully start off well. Hopefully a win in Estonia will give us the drive to beat England without their best player, and then who knows.
