It's too bad especially considering he's been on bad form and he really needs all the practice he can gain to get back to speed. Hopefully it won't affect his playing after the injury.

Tha name Sa Pinto does little to encourage sportiniguistas. Sure, he's always had grit and heart, but he hasn't had game for I don't know how long. Are you sure Sa is the direction Sporting are going? Seems to me Tonito, JVP or even Ronaldo could handle the spot for Nicu and do just fine. I really don't know how Sa even enters the picture.

Titular?

From what I understand, Sa pinto is ready to play and due to the circumstances, He might just get a chance this saturday vs leiria!

I also hear that Jardel will not play saturday!

So we will be actually fielding 11 players against leiria!

It's unbelievable how a guy that scored friggin 42 goals last year is a total bag of crap this year!

I know there are reasons including our weak rather non-existent midfield after we sold Viana(feck, I loved that guy) but still, there is no effort at all from that cornudo this year!!!

Hopefully, he will get sold in january!
Thanks for visiting but it's time to get the steppin!!!!!!!

I expecting a better performance after last weeks derby dud!!

Eventhough Nicu plays for the enemy He happens to be one of my favorite football players not named Adrian Ilie.

I don't think that he is "finished" as you claim cause well...simply put...the injury is in his foot and not a recurring knee injury. Mind you, if he gets rushed back from his foot injury then he may very well be finished. (Aren't broken foot bones like broken wrists and knee injuries...they never seem to go away? I may be wrong)
