Iordanov is truly one of good people in football! He has always been one of my favorites because he always worked hard and loved and respected this club. He has been with Sporting since 1990, and has never left through the good and the bad.

Unfortunately, his better years are behind him. :depress: A year or so again, he said that he would rather retire than leave Sporting. And, this year, he stuck by his word. He is longer playing, but he is now serving as an assistant coach for the Sporting "B" team.

Didn't he have a rare disease that sort of forced him out of soccer?

I'm wondering how Balakov is doing these days? He must be getting up there in age and last I heard he was playing in Germany, no?

jordanov got that heavy car crashed (almost got killed) some years ago so I guess he hasfully ... he has never recovered fully ... he is also not in his young years ...

It is a good thing to see him coaching and staying close to football ... I guess for him Sporting is just like a second home now ... By the way, a lot of ppl in Bg start supporting Sporting because of him and Balakov ....

Bala is still with Stutgart ... probably has one or more year to play ... but is still their N10 ... he was a great player but is getting old too ...

Thanx ...
