Just call me Super Mário!

This is the proof being a good header doesn't necessarily mean having a HEAD...

For those who don't know Jardi's intellectual capacities very well yet, I present you some good stuff.

PORT: "Quando o jogo está a mil, minha naftalina sobe."

ENG: -" When the game is a thousand miles per hour, my naftaline rises."

-------------------------

ENG: -" How interesting, here in Japan there are only imported cars"

-------------------------------

PORT: "Clássico é clássico e vice-versa..."

ENG: -" A derby is a derby and vice -versa".

----------------------

"Eu me adapto a qualquer futebol, tanto eu como a minha família."

------------------------

Hahaha

That's ok we don't need him to pass the BAR or do brain surgery just to score goals and pleny of them! For alls I care he can walk around the streets of Lisboa in his quacas(underwears) as long as he shows up on game day!

rábula do "Zé Manel"

Sorry, for not being in English. If you have any problem I'll translate! This is quite funny, as these fiction-stories from Produções Fictícias always do.

Eh, eh, eh! Estás bonito, estás!

I took Spanish in college, but I'm much better in Portuguese...duh. I went to school in Portugal until I was 14 (8th grade)...But you wouldn't believe what you'll lose when you don't practice it.

And yes, I'm a teacher...Not Portuguese though.

Wow very impressive! You came here at 14 years old and you still managed to become a teacher! My buddy came here from the islands when he was 9 and he still can't speak english so hot! He still gets peoples attention by calling them Hey Caralho but with the Sao Miguel accent it sounds more like Aye Cuteye!

Thanks… I thought I was kind of crazy when I decided to major in English Literature… But it wasn’t difficult at all. (school is much harder in Portugal --at least from my experience)

Oh, and I know what you mean…that thick accent Acoreano is unmistakable. I’m sure I probably have a little accent too, but I am not aware of it at all. Maybe it’s gone now.

Are there allot of Azoreans in Jersey? I thought it was mostly Contientals! Although I do have an aunt, uncle, and cousins there who recently had a party at an Acorean club but I couldn't make it! And isn't there a beautiful Sporting clube there?

I don’t think that there are that many here, but I know a few. But you’re right, I think it’s mostly continental people here. The Club Acores is on Wilson Ave. in Nwk. About 2 blocks from my home. The party was a few months back… Plus I think they just had a Festa do Espirito Santo (mostly an Azorean tradition).

Yes, there’s a Lar dos Leoes here, but I don’t pay much attention to it. I prefer Sport Newark Benfica.

I know that Espirito Santo feast well that's where they serve the sopas! The soup with the bread!

I know this one cat from up north of Portugal his name is Julio but we call the Espanol cuz he talks so fast you can't understand nothing he says!

Like continentals throw the word !Pora!(SP) like it's just another word. If I said that around my Moms or my old man he'd throw me a slap! Same with Caralho! I dont' know maybe it's the same in the continent but when I was in Lisboa those were the 2 words I mostly heard!

I thought the reason women went to gay bars was to meet other women. I can’t tell you too much about gay bars, I’ve never been to Lar dos Leoes.

Porra isn’t really a bad word. It’s like damn or darn.

I don’t know if it’s the continental thing or what. My mother’s family and my father’s family lived about 5 minutes (walking) away from each other. Most of my father’s family say the C and F word like it’s very natural to do so (I don't like most of the anyway ). But you’ll never hear cursing out of most of my mom’s family’s mouth. Maybe it has to do with the way people are brought up, but then again I never heard my grandmas utter a “bad” word. I’m sure Acoreanos are the same.

Porra!! Entendes-te??

I hear ya! My grandparents I never really heard swear or my Mom but my pops throws a few around! I've slipped before and said Porra in front of my mom and she didn't like it much! Now is it foodis or is it fodace?

My mom went to a SCP game against Porto and the crowd started chanting Pinto de Costa va por caralho and she couldn't believe it!
