Taça 12/13, 3rd Round| Moreirense 3-2 SPORTING, AET| Moreira de Cónegos, 21.10.2012

The majority of sportinguistas would expect us to go to this important game already under the management of a new coach but that is not the case. Our Board keeps trailing and the only thing they say it's "patience, we need patience". Oceano, the current coach, is at least a sensible guy which is one of the few reassuring things we can find right now about this club.

He called the best squad available for this difficult away game at Moreirense, a Primeira Liga side that is tough to beat at home. It's also interesting to see that he called two players from the B side that he coached until he was called to manage the first team - Portugal U21's international CB Pedro Mendes and the excellent Colombian RB Santiago Arias, who was strangely sent to the B side by Sá Pinto in the pre-season.

Line-up to be posted soon.

Rinaudo sees an opportunity to shoot from a distance and does it with a powerful low rocket. Their keeper could have done better.

A good first half by Sporting, pressing high, controlling the midfield, using the wingers and the full backs and not giving much chances at the back. Rinaudo is showing that he is absolutely crucial for the balance of the team, Insúa combining very well with Capel, Arias confirming that he is a better option than Cédric. Keep it up!

At 62' 2-1 to Moreirense again a great shot by the Uruguayan Pablo Oliveira. Two individual moments of brilliance by one player are enough to destroy all the work done so far.
