With the electoral campaign boiling we almost forget that there is still a league going on. This is the last game before the elections as when the league comes back on 3 April, after an international break, we will already have a new president.
The 4 home games that we need to play before the end of the season are all must win ones, this if we want to keep the 3rd place. If we win today we will travel to Guimarães with a 7 points cushion over Vitória and will keep the other pretenders at a fair distance.
The way the team has been playing leaves almost no hope that we will show something in any way different from what happened in the overwhleming majority of matches this season but there's always hope that these muppets realise who they are playing for.
Here's Couceiro's starting XI for tonight...
João Pereira - Polga - Torsiglieri - Evaldo
André Santos - Zapater
Yannick Djaló - Matías Fernández - Diogo Salomão
Subs: Tiago, Abel, Daniel Carriço, Jaime Valdés, Cristiano, Vukcevic, Saleiro.
Good to see Salomão in the starting line-up but odd to see the continuous trust on Djaló.
Games starts at 21:15 CET
