Rugido adulto em alma verde

Superioridade colectiva do Sporting no assalto à liderança.
Liedson voltou a marcar, e só Fernando impediu "massacre"

in O Jogo
by Jean-Paul Lares

I thought it was funny how the Leiria keeper kicked the ball out of bounds on practically every goal kick. It got ridiculous at one point, he was sending it well into the stands.

Did you catch the game, Filipe? What did you think overall? I liked how Veloso was picking his times to go forward properly, he would break up an attack and either make a simple pass if there was nothing there or if there was an opening, he went with the ball.

Again, I didn't really think Rodrigo Tello did anything. He seems to really slow down the attack, and I feel somebody else would be better in the squad. Caneira, Nani, and especially Alecsandro were good in my opinion.

Hi FIG and kleber!

I've been in London working and only managed to check the score on saturday night after the game finished.

FIG: Although I didn't watch this one, from the other games I've seen so far I think you're right about Miguel Veloso and Tello. The first is a very intelligent player with no problems in taking the lead of the passage defense-attack. The second it is true that slows down our game quite a lot but sometimes that is necessary, especially when we play with three attacking minded midfielders in the diamond besides him.
