Trip to Oporto/tickets

I am thinking of having a mini break in Oporto and wonder if you guys and girls can give me a brief steer re things to do - and, of course, the important issue of getting a ticket for a Porto game. Thinking of going in late February/March - and hope it is warm by then! Apologies if there is a thread for this type of thing - I could not find it.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium the week leading up to the game. Depending on what game you're hoping to see, it could be sold out. For example, the Sevilla tie at home will be sold out for sure. Good tickets will be available for other games though, you just need to call/visit the stadium's ticket booth early.

If you will be there on the last weekend of Feb they'll play away. On the first weekend of March they'll be at home against Guimarães and it will not sell out for sure.

About the city I have not much to say because I find it dull and good weather is something that you will definitely struggle to find there at that time of the year.

Many thanks. Had enough of the cold so will either go later or switch to Lisbon - saw Benfica last time so will have to see your boys this time!

Lisbon is incomparably more worth a visit than Porto and that includes the weather. I wish you could watch us playing good football but that has been quite rare in the last couple of seasons. Good luck anyway!
