Well he's not as greedy, but he still is greedy and he's still kind of a wannabe playboy.

Thx for letting Q go , a big mistake imo. He has 7-8 goals this year and is playing much better as a team playa

Quaresma is the best player in the Portuguese league, one of the best up and coming players in Portugal period.

Barca definately made a mistake in letting him go.

I dunno, I think Liedson is better than Quaresma. Bit much to say of a guy who usually comes on a sub.

What does them being at the top of La Liga have to do with it being a crappy decision though?

if you win more than you lose then you are happy.

Now you're talking about satisfaction. Face it, the two are not linked. You can make many mistakes and still somehow come out on top. Just look at Greece's Euro 2004 final game with their defence against us, they had so many blunders and ball-watching incidents it was hardly finite, yet they still came out on top.

I think Quaresma isn't blowing away just yet, but he's forcing the arguement of keeping Boa Morte and Simao WAY WAY WAY out of being in the starting 11 for our national team. I can't bother watching these two only be able to play when their money is on the table.

Quaresma I don't see as the same, he just wants to play, which is fine enough for me, so long as you don't drag your feet on the field. Ronaldo on the left, Quaresma on the right, Deco in the middle, someone half ****ing decent in front and we'll have basically an all-star squad.

I still do not understand why he was so poor at Barca last year.... I bet Barca is a place where young talents lose their abilities.... Riquelme, Saviola...

btw, IMO Diego should be given 10 number eventually.

It wasn't that he was poor, it was that he had an injury later in the season and a clash with Rijkaard.

Barca has become a shit team for young players. Period. They are so intent on getting back to the top of the Spanish League that they refuse to groom. **** em. They'll still lose the Liga this year.

Ricardo Costa Called To National Team

Ricardo Costa has been called up to the National Team for the game with the Rep. Ireland, marked for this Wednesday. Ricardo Costa had a shining career in the Sub-21 National Team, which he was the Captian of the Team in the last important moments of the Sub-21. Luiz Felipe Scolari was at the Estoril-FC Porto match and he was impressed by the game that Ricardo Costa had, Scolari called on the Portista to join the National Team. It well be the first time Ricardo Costa was called to the Main National Team. Ricardo Costa joins Costinha as the only 2 Portistas to be called to the National Team, but Costinha is in doubt after picking up an injury in the 2-1 win over Estoril.
