I like the little guys and you guys are an inspiration to many Israelis who wish to see Israel NT play one day in the world cup.

Knowing you guys 13 years ago and again after the world cup, we saw a team that went from being lower tier team to being diciplined and well organized........

Best of luck in Brazil

First round of the group stage is gone and overall we have a very entertaining world cup.
Good and equal matches with a few exceptions. Very early to make a whole analysis but Brazil has shown that there are not so hot favorites as many have thought before the mundial while, Holland showed a lot of strength despite a depleted and young squad while Van Gaal dspite many criticism even in his own country showed his tactical competence by outplaying Spain and the Tiki Taka.
No surprise as Germany showed their blitz again why IMO they are today the best team.
Italy as usual showing their strength and whenever they are underated they bring problems to opponents.

Meanwhile our future opponents in the next campaign have been average. Belgium dissapointed the most and despite winning against Algeria it wasn't a good performance from what everyone expected. Let's see against Russia how they behave. Talent is unquestionable and both of their scorers came from the bench (Fellaini and Mertens) but guess the heat and the pressure of being favourites really hit them hard.

As for Bosnia they very unfortunate to concede early against Argentina. They played a decent game but still can't really judge them since they played against one of the favorites for the trophy.
Both teams should advance in their respective groups.

Yea ... Bosnia and Belgium arent as strong as we thought.

Whats going to be interesting is that Belgium plays Russia which we had before , so we can see the strengths of Belgium infront of a fromer foe.

Bosnia had a chance to get some points against Nigeria but failed and now the game against Iran looks tough. Technically they are out.

As for the World Cup in general - Holland showed its muscle but made the game against Australia seemed tough. Chile is a suprise. Brazil is all smoke and mirrors as they look tough, but they dont have what it takes.

Germany came back just recently and tied Ghana, which you dont expect from a team like Germany. France is strong as usual. England is a choker. Italy will barely get into the next round. Spain is a clear choker.... not much to say here. Who else am i missing?

Spain is not quite a choker they won everything in the last years but definitely in this World Cup they are dissapointing.

Europeans are struggling in this World Cup with rare exceptions. Guess the weather contributes a bit but on the other hand other nations have developed a lot. We see the example of Costa Rica.

Regarding our future opponents in the next qualifiers, Bosnia really dissapointed. There was an expectation they would qualify form this group in second place and now they don't stand a chance. Against Nigeria they had a few good moments, but couldn't dominate Nigeria.

Belgium unquestionably has the talent, but are feeling the pressure of being favorites. People are expecting a lot from them not only wins but good displays. Despite all this they all delivering in terms of results.

Quite unpredictable World Cup. But a great won.

But they struggle against better organized teams such as today against Holland.

Most likely to get knocked by Brazil with some ease as their defense really has a tough time.

They had a great game against Spain that is fact but IMO they won´t repeat it against Brazil.

From now, I’ll be rooting for Costa Rica….
Small nation with 5 million population getting big results against traditional powerhouse NT’s.
