As I have already said, the match against the Ukraine ended 1-1, Walid Badir scored for Israel.

Wasn`t that a tournament in which Israel played Ukraine, Poland and Serbia (on that time & Montenegro). If i am not mistaken we won the tournament.

IMO, the way we were playing Ukraine would have gone through IMO, but in terms of chances, if we played in our best way i would say we would go through. We have a much more talented team then Ukraine.

No, the tournament you are referring to is the Lobanovsky Cup in 2005, where Israel beat Ukraine 5-3 on penalties in the semi-final, and lost to Poland 3-2 in the final. While the last match against Ukraine was the 1-1 draw at the Ramat-Gan in 2007.

Yeah, true. Thanks for the memory

Analysing the different formations we could have field and the possible opponents we could have played i really can`t believe we didn`t get close to a spot in the World Cup.
