Balili is fit, but remember....he is already 30.....

Im kinda scared with our GK scenario... say if Awatt is out...who do we have? Davidovitch? who, under 25 do you recomend to be a NT GK for us?

We have talents in our offensive part, many option, i think Balili is out with a lot of young options i don't think he should be in the squad. Aouate will have about 33, 34 in 2010, but for goalkeeper he would be fine. The thing is we already need to look for a replacement in that position and some young defender also.

Ohad Cohen has been in very good form this year, I am actually surprised he hasnt been called up yet, as for defensive talents, Dekel Keinan and Shai Maimon for Maccabi Haifa are probably two up and coming central defenders. So we have some talent on both sides, its more of a matter if we can play as a team with beautiful football.

Assulin is Israeli, he will play for Israel. I don't believe he even has Spanish citizenship yet, though I could be wrong. His father has stated numerous times that if Gai is excused from normal military requirements that he will play for Israel...and with the exception that Ben Sahar got I don't see how this situation is any different.

Awat is one of the best GKs in Europe, no worries needed there

De Ridder would be great but I fear it would be tempting for him to choose for Holland which is more "established" as a team. However, if he uses his brains and thinks of where he will gets most playing opportunities, he should go for Israel.

De ridder is a c-unt.. Seriously...
He will be 30 in another 6 years and still thinking of deciding if he should play in Israel NT or Holland.

At the same time he is competing for a spot in some 2nd division scottish leauge....

He's old people! This decision should have been made 4 years ago. Not now.
Ofcourse he wants Holland, but Hollands U21 was strong without him and would not need him.....

That is exactly what i said about this issue when we were discussing the Ben Sahar law. Now every good player will try to get excuse from the army and if you let Ben Sahar go then why can't you let Asulin? And then another one? I know it is bad for our football that talents like them get into army service, but what makes them more special than another Israeli? The country comes first i think.
Anyways, i wish he could play for Israel, but his father is making some pressure just like Ben Sahar's mother did when she threatened that his son would play for Poland.
This could become a mess.

Assulin was named in the squad, I'm guessing the first chance they have to play him they will so that he is tied to the national team.

Same way they did to Ben Shahar and we all know how that turned.

But this guy, had his youths and still stuck with the youths of Barcelona and is one of the best assests we have.
Since this is a Senior NT game, he will get capped and that means no one ...no Spain and no whoever can take our precious assulin away from us

....... Im really hyped for the match....

Fact is that FIFA regulation says that Gay Asulin still can play for the Spanish NT because international friendlies dont count.
