17th October 2007: Friendly game vs. Belarus @Ramat Gan

The game will take place today against Belarus. Its a friendly game, which starts at 20:50 israeli time (live on Channel 10)

Belarus star Alexandr Hleb will play for the opponents side

Expecting Lineup from Israel:

The same like in Croatia, but Ben Sahar and Omer Golan will play instead of Yossi Benayoun and Pini Balili.

ירוק תמיד בלב ורק אחת קבוצה אוהב, והיא עושה לי ריגושים אני אתן לה את החיים.

בליבי עד המוות מכבי כל יום מודה לאל תמיד שבחיפה אין הפועל

Just a friendly game, but an opportunity to already think on the next campaign and observe players who could be called up in the future. Tamir Cohen impressed and a good display against Belarus could make him secure the confidence from Kashtan and the fans.
I agree about Omer Golan, we have so many younger and better options than him and we still insist on him.

1-0 Israel. Goal by Aviram Bruchiyan after a big big mistake by the Number 4 of Belarus.

Just watching the first half show how inconsistent we are, we look like shyte and make stupid passes and other times we play a really pretty, game, I wish we could play up to our potential all the time.

1-1 Romanschenko scores. Deserved. We're playing crap. Omer Golan is the biggest shame

2-1. Gal Alberman scores. With more luck than brain. Thanks to the Belarussian defence once again.

Apparently at the locker room assistant coach Moshe Sinai criticized Balili outloud and it was possible to hear senteces such as: "when will you score for the NT? why don´t you fight like the other players, it doesn´t matter how many minutes you take"

The truth is Balili from a long date hasn´t been producing something for the NT.

And why bother having him on. He is put in front and he doesnt produce. Such an important game was lost.....

I always liked Balili from his days back in Hapoel TA.
But, i guess some players just cant produce in international football. He plays well for his club, but after these past few NT games, i would rather have Kashtan leave him off the club.

Omer Golan is absolute shyte. There is nothing more to say about this player, he is just not good enough and he will never be.

I didnt see the whole game, but it looked like Sahar and Baruchian played well together, does anybody that saw the whole game have anymore insight on this?

Actually, Ben Sahar didnt play well. The only guy, who impressed me was Aviram

Bruchian and Tamir Cohen are two players that if they keep their form they will certainly be on the next campaign. Young and talented. Certainly better than Badir that was used during almost the whole campaign. Omer Golan and Balili IMO shouldn´t be there. See how many forwards we have, Itzhaki, Sahar, Collauti, Barda, Buzaglo, Shechter, Azriel and even others that if improve could return like Ben Shushan, Arbeitman, Omer Peretz.

We don´t lack offensive options, we really do need a younger defense because Benado is still one of the best defenders in the country and he is a veteran already. Midfielders we also have plenty of them. As we said in another thread, we have the players we simply don´t know ho wti use them.
