Real Madrid and Beckham are coming to Israel next month

The president of Real, Ramon Calderon, has accepted the invitation of Shimon Peres to a friendly peace-match against a mixed Israeli/Palestinian game. The match will take place on June 19th, and it will include David Beckham since he will be contracted to Real until the end of June.

Very good news for Israeli fans.

Because Beckham is leaving Real after this year so when you say Real is coming, you can't be sure whether it's with or without him since he will be gone soon. And what everyone in Israel really care about is Beckhams arrival, the other players are nice but Beckham is like the icing on the cake.

La Juve? Lasciamo perdere.

Seriously..This may be one of the last moments we would ever see Beckham play in a European Uniform..
Lets make the best of it...

i'd wanna see if he'd go to the western wall.... and do some kabbalah!

Personally, I think this match is a waste. I would rather Real play Beitar or some other Israeli club preparing for Europe. Can you imagine Real visiting Teddy!

This match is to promote peace (the best way possible is to make a mixed Israeli Palestinian team), how would playing a club promote peace if there is no one from the opposing side?

They have had these peace matches before against Barcelona and Andalusia. All Im saying is that teams like Real don't come to Israel often if ever. Israeli clubs that are preparing for Europe should use this chance to prepare for their European campaign by playing clubs like Real.

btw.... they are going to have those peace matches every year anyway.

Real Madrid is coming without Beckham. He will be on vacation after the Spanish season ends and then report to the LA Galaxy.
