7,000 English fans to come?

It is being estimated by both English and Israeli authorities that more or less 7,000 English fans will make the trip to Israel in March to support their team against Israel in the Euro Qualifyer.
A lot of people and they will surely make a lot of noise. Surprising to listen to this after only some monts ago Liverpool was afraid to come.:rollani:

I expect no less than 1000 Israeli fans to England in the return leg.

Well this number really depends on how Israel performs in these next matches. If we stand a good chance to qualify we will have a good number of fans in England, plus the local jewish community.

i don't count the Jewish community. If Israel are within striking distance then at least 1000 fans must travel.

why not? Jews in England like football. I record that in France there were many Israeli supporters and a good part of them from the jewish community. This happened in the qualifyers and it happened with Hapoel Tel Aviv in Uefa Cup against PSG.

There is planning on having Israelis and Jews from Abroad like me, herzfield and yarok ole to come.... so that would change things a little....

So in essense..you may have around 5,000 israelis, and another 7,000 jews from England, Europe and North America come....would be intresting to see.....

Other than that, England is intresting...so close to M.East and Asia and so close to N. America in some cases (5 hours)....

With a good sales pitch, including those of ThinkIsrael/ThinkEilat... i think we will be able to get a few... I mean...Ireland is only 4 million people..yet..they had like 5,000 come to Israel...and i dont think highly of their team or their country....

So English fans will come IMO...many would be English Jews nonetheless...

Thank You Good Luck to you aswell, you will be welcomed in Israel.

English fans doesn't matter where the game is played are always there to support their NT, so of course we expect the same in this game against Israel.

You have to be kidding me with that crap about Ireland. You are bitter about the stupid PLO demonstrations out front of the stadium?

And I doubt 7K fans will be there. English fans aren't exactly happy with their current gaffer and team's performance.

7,000 will come...even more.
There is alot of English jews who are coming. I know about 5 trips from Canada/USA alone who are going from NY/Toronto/Montreal/Halifax/Chicago?/Miami to watch the game in Wimbeldon...

regardless, Heathrow-Tel Aviv is cheap and i dont think people wouldnt mind spending say....200 pounds for flight, tickets and a bed...

I'm not Romanian I'm just a fan. I'm Irish/English and that's fine you like the North but your comments about the Irish as a people need to cease. I dare you to find a nicer group of people home or away.
