U21: France-Israel

First leg is played tomorrow right after the senior team plays Russia. We have a great u-21 team, lets see what they can do. As mentioned before we've beaten them in not too long ago, but they are a very very strong team and they don't screw up too often.

Two good chances for both sides so far, Peretz had to score when the keeper was out but he missed.

stupid foul by Peser. 2nd yellow and we're down to 10 men.

0:0 at halftime. We're lucky this moment has arrived. We played really well, but since the red card things have become really bad, and France were all over us.
Refaelov was substituted for Danin.

This is an amazing result, 10 men, against perhaps the best U21 team in the world and they're leading. Ben Sahar, the youngest man on the pitch. He is playing wonderful tonight and the goal is just the bonus for it. No wonder he plays for Chelsea.

1-1 now, Zubar scores an unstoppable shot...

Let's hope it doesn't get worse.

1:1 is the final score, and that result is no less then sensational, especially under the conditions tonight.

Wednesday at Herzeliya is the crunch time for us, we can make history and qualify to the European Championship, or we can flop.

And who remembers all the talks about guys like Tamuz, Ben Shushan, being taken to the senior squad and 'weakening' Guy Levi's team.

Ben Sahar is just amazing, the U-21 has always been good. I hope we stay hungry in the second leg, if we were able for a tie with 10 men at an away game then i don't see a reason we can't beat them with 11 men at home. Its all about mentality now.

Nice game, 13000 people but strange.
Firstly when i enterered in the stadium with my flags and my jersey the security checking was very strong
After i started to hang my flags. The players saw me and thanked me.I felt much exitation around me on behalf of the men of safety.
The match is played...without problem .
End of the game :I turn over towards my flags to take down them.the boss of safety came to speak to me." it's your flags, i prefer you said, you have a lot of people outside, lebanese people! Be careful. And the "rg" (the french shin beth ) call me for you to know who are you "

I understood that my flags drew the attention with television in live and that in reaction of Lebanese people of this city came to try to find supporters of israel to fight(but maximum 10 israelis fans in this game). The police force took my number of plate of car:rollani:
It's not easy to be israel fan in europe...
