EC 2008 Qualifier: Israel - Andorra @ Holland

Our first 'home' game, how exciting.

We have to beat them, in Israel, Andorra, Holland or Mars, they're amateurs and they lost 5:0 to England. Don't give me another 1:0. My team;

___________Dudu
Afek_Gershon_Ben Haim_Ziv

Alberman__Benayoun___Tal

Ben Shoshan__Colautti__Arbeitman

good line-up but i'd put saban rather then ziv just to see how it works for him, this is a good game to take a chance so we'll know who will start in the big games. We need to play a 4-3-3 like Raanan says, we need to constantly score on Wednesday because this group we might find 2 or even 3 teams competing for second place and it will depend on goal differential, so hopefully we can take advantage of andorra

I think we can be able to put on a good show. I think that it will be an easy game, but once again we will have to see how well we play... Im hoping that we will give some people a chance like shoshan and tamuz. Badir and Katan may have to sit... but im not really going to question Kashtan.

I just hope that we wont be suprised and we will have alot of support and all....

Im hoping for a real good match...possibly like England did with a 5-0 win! They used real good players in that game against nobodies...in anycase, i think its early..we learned our lesson in Tallin and now we are ready to unleash a wrath on Andorra...
this is good, comparing that when you play shitty teams in your group in the end, you end up being over hyped and then see the score and realize it is only 1-0 and your not really creating good football in the 75th minute

some of you guys jump on the bandwagon.....once one player has a bad game he immediately must be dropped from the first team.......zandberg did nothing.....he was just as bad as katan.........melikson is no where near ready to start on the national team...there are at least 10 israeli players who are better in that position than melikson

dont worry estonia are much better than andorra........it should be much easier............agree or dont katan is one of israels most talented players and commands a starting position in our nt despite his "poor performance" against estonia....he was also great against slovenia in that friendly and idan tal wasnt very good either against estonia...

but all of our player sshould have better games against andorra

are you aware that saban is a right-back, his left-foot his absolutely terrible.......no way he can play left back.....the only replacement is gafni......personally i'd bring keisi back to the team

I've made it clear that I'm not a big fan of Afek the rightback not in my team and not in the National team. But I dunno if putting Klumi up there is a better choice, I guess that if Afek screws up against those minnows it will be invetible to change him.

Afek-----Gershon------Ben Haim-----Ziv

Katan---------Benayoun-------Zandberg

Ben Shushan-----Collauti---------Tamuz

i would use this lineup against andorra !
we need a full attack formation ! and not benayoun and katan in the front because they are not shooting and coluatti is alone in the front !

What Kashtan needs to see is that our two side backs aren't originally from that position, they were offensive players and have an offensive mentality, in on side it is good, but on the other it leaves their sectors with space. With time Kashtan will fix it.
Afek is a good player IMO he should be in the squad. Maybe Saban would be intresting because he played all his career as a right back, but Afek offensively speaking gives a lot more than Saban and Afek is a fighter. I wouldn't sack him.
Katan is in bad form indeed he deserves credit, but maybe with Ben Shushan or Arbeitman we would have more firepower.

Alberman---------Benayoun---------Tal

Katan-------Collauti---------Arbietman

This would be a good experiment in andorra, it would be good to see how Alberman can play not to mention Arbietman. Katan may not be a striker but he can run it down and cross it very well to Collauti and Arbietman. If Kashtan notices that katan does not work well then he can switch him with one of the young strikers and pull of a full force attack. Non the less our defense is in trouble.

Against Andorra, Israel should play with a more spread out attack. Benayoun needs space to do his magic. having too many strikers and MF's can be be too crowded, not allowing individual talents to emerge. The Israelis have the advantage with better individual players and they must exploit this.

Thats a good line-up but not for andorra in my opinon, at andorra we need 3 strikers and we need many goals. This would be good against croatia, england, etc. Benayoun screwed up yesterday in my opinion, he held on to the ball too much, he is just an amazing talent when it comes to passing the defenders but he waits too long to release the ball. He could be one of the biggest goal scorers at west ham and at our NT if he just takes more shots on goal.
