Balili to become Turkish?

http://www.one.co.il/cat/articles/ar...id=80203&bz=13

Well that is a bit surprising But Sivasspor want to see Balili with a Turkish passport. Apparently he qualifies as a Turkish citizen. Too bad he's already been capped by Israel, eh?

This means they can bring in an another foreign player. In Turkey there is a 6 player restriction. Has he really been capped by Israel??

Yeah I am not too sure about how many years he has lived in Turkey, but recently there have been a new rule about people being able to apply for citizenship due to PR-reasons. It sounds weird I know, but a player called Nobre on Besiktas just got his turkish citizenship and Balili might be able to do the same.

No need, but he won't be able to play for the NT even if he would be good enough because he's already played for us.

Well here in Israel after about 10 years Giovanni Rosso and Murad Megamedov got their citizenship, it seems that in Turkey it is necessary a bit less.

Balili scored his first goal in the season against Antalyaspor away in the 7th minute
