Will Colautti join us for Euro 2008

According the the IFA and all the press ofcourse. Colautti is still a temporary citizen, and still doesn't have an Israeli passport. UEFA and FIFA will usually only let him play if he actually holds and Israeli passport rather then just the citizenship. The process takes about 2 years usually but Menachem is hoping to speed things up from 2 years to 2 weeks so Colautti can play. I hope it works, and if it doesn't the IFA will approach FIFA and hope they give them some sort of approval to let him play. I think this was a screw up by the IFA they should have checked on this, the minute he married an Israeli people thought of him in the NT! That was in March, why didn't the IFA make sure everything was in place for him to play for the NT.

Well if he was already called to the NT is because he is close feom joining. I wouldn't say it take two years, specially because he is married with an Israeli.
And IFA is like that, they always let things to the last moment and everything becomes a mess.

well to leave it simple we need this guy, and we need Ben-Haim to get along, those 2 players are essential. We them we really have a shot in wiinning this group. Ben-Haim is a guy who will lead the defense and Colautti will score goals, which many of you have pointed out is something we lack...we need goalscorers.

Definitely. Since the times of Roni Rosenthal and Ronen Harazi we lack goalscorers in the NT.
Ben Haim is essential for us, but Kashtan had to dismiss him in order to show some discipline in which we sometimes lack. I agree with Kashtan in this issue.

I wonder what happened exactly. I always thought Ben-Haim was very disciplined, at Bolton he is praised by lot of the staff and teammates for being very hard working. I wonder if maybe Kashtan did this to show the he's the new manager and he won't take any bullshit from any players. Maybe Ben-Haim really didn't feel well, this story is very uncertain imo.

Yeah you are right in this point. I believe it is more Kashtan's way to show command than indiscpline form Ben Haim. Ben HAim is hard working like you say and difficult to believe he stood against Kashtan.
