Awat to Deportivo: Done deal.

According to a headline on Thursday's newspaper, it looks like Dudu's next team is Deportivo La Coruna. We've heard strong interest by Valencia in recent weeks but Aouate probably prefers a team where he can automatically be the first keeper, instead of waiting a year until Canizares retires.

well whatever team he signs with is a good one because he's built a name for himself in Spain and most the teams interested in him are reasonably large clubs. Deportivo is a good club, not like Valencia, but they'll have to do for 3-4 years until he goes to Barcelona. But if he were told that after the coming season he will start as Valencias keeper then I would go with Valencia. They also had interest in him last season but this season seems alot more serious for Valencia. Doesn't matter thought, Deportivo La Coruna is a great club and if he sign there then congrats to dudu he deserves it.

Its the system that i want him to get into!
Dudu has his own system and like Ben Haim, he has his own and he builds on what he learns from his trainers/coaches..
thats what i want Dudu to get...

and then bring it with him to the Euro 2008

now we need Dudu to show the 3 new bitches (croatia, russia, england) that the only goal that would be used is theres

agreed, dudu can stop anything on a good day. By 2008 we'll have many of todays young talents matured and ready in their prime, i can see a very dangerous Israeli NT in the future. The only weakness seems to be the defense.

Dudu is going to earn 900K per season, not too bad at all...anyone knows how much Benayoun gets?

well keepers never make as much money as attackers or midfielder do, but still 900k for a keeper is a great sum. I assume we're talking about Deportivo?

It was written in Yedioth only, probably this rumour has no confirmation from another source. We'll have to wait until it happens, they said maybe this week already.

And now it is made official, Dudu is the new keeper in Riazor for the next 5 years! Good luck to Aouate, great signing for Depor IMO, but needless to say I am biased. The fee is the only dispute, looks like he will cost about 4 Million Euro.

Don't think so, they ended up 8th, maybe they got an Intertoto spot or something...whatever the case is you are correct and Depor is a big club, not as rich and famous as Barca of course but he can't climb much higher from here with a 5 years contract....

its a good club for him, i wish him luck and i hope he doesnt forget what team he came from...... lol...
oh and btw if awat will not be the first keeper of the national team and davidovitch will be, then i will lose all the respect i have for kashtan, and probably stop supporting israel for the euro 2008 qualifiers...

Yeah that would be too weird, a keeper of a top La Liga side benched by the keeper of Maccabi Haifa
