Here's our national dish:

I know you limp wristed eastern anaemics don't know what this is or how you go about making it, you'd probably boil the damn thing to make it as bland as possible then serve it in vinegar with tasteless tundra vegetables or some shit.

but seriously, when it comes to cuisine culture, there is definitely a sort of equator or ligne maginot out there: wine growing countries vs the freezing potato pickers, the former having a cooking culture, the latter not

no it isn‘t

Mangalica pork and Porco Preto are generally considered kosher in Hungary, anything else can be made kosher by a good rabbi

one friend of mine rabbi even made a cheeseburger with bacon (actually a double no no) kosher before he ate it, so I know it‘s possible, but that‘s Hung(a)ry aka magical Houdinistan for you, probably wouldn‘t work in Borschtland

That's the spirit. Pork is the best tasting meat anyway, why deprive yourself?

depends on the mood tbh. sometimes I prefer beef or veal (uruguayan and brazilian cuts are prime stuff), sometimes Mangalica or porco preto. sometimes game. actually, the best meat I have ever tasted was rendeer in Finland. nothing comes close to that.

will travel to Madeira this autumn, they have those free roaming cows up there in those evergreen mountain plains, supposedly those beef skewers they do on bbq with the local laurisilva leaves are ace, will report about it
