where you dug out this picture

1995-1996 MŠK Žilina
1996-1998 ODu Trenčín
1998-1999 Slovan Bratislava
1999-2002 Slovensko „21“
2002-2003 FK ZTS Dubnica
2003-2005 Slovan Liberec
2005-2006 Sparta Praha
2007-2008 Viktoria Žižkov
2010- FK Senica

Remember him from his Slovan times when Slovan played nice attacking football, he got sacked after CL qualification loss to Anorthosis.

He made himself a good name in Liberec and Senica.

Well travelled then in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Always made me wonder, Senica. Is that named so because of the Roman author?

Michal Hipp was assistant of Weiss during his period with NT, and has excellent relationship with NT players. It´s rumoured that after Plzen refused to release Vrba, he was player´s 1st choice. He is good coach, very responsible and honest type who is liked by fans, players and media, with the lattest one being very important. It´s no secret that Weiss´tantrums and eternal fights with media broke him a neck.

Seneca ?

I have no idea where the town´s name comes from, but I doubt it´s named after a Roman author.

I really hope this works out for you guys, i would like to see you grab 1 of the top 2 spots in your group for the next WC qualifiers. And its maybe the first time i have heard of co-coaches at international level, i wonder who will have the final decision on player selections, starters, formations etc...

Should be good too watch.

Sweden had co-coaches for a long time (Lagerback & Soderberg) for about three tournaments, I'm thinking World Cup 2002 to World Cup 2006, around that time period

thank you Rupa.

Agreed it´s weird decision, no idea how it will work. I expect Griga being 1A and Hipp 1B or something like that. Griga is tactitian, Hipp motivator.

So, a good move for (or moves) for Repre ahead of preparations for WC '14 qualifying... Yes?

What kind of changes might be expected in the team going forward?

major change will be defensive line. Weiss insisted on CB-Durica and GK-Mucha, even if these guys didnt play regular football for their clubs. I expect new coaching duo preferring Hubočan over Ďurica and Kello/Perniš over Mucha.

Dušan Švento, who was blacklisted by Weiss, already made his return to NT.

1st two friendlies with Poland (0-1) and Netherlands (0-2) were hardly any indicative, as many players were not avalaible (Skrtel, Stoch, Weiss...), we are still struggling upfront, but this is hardly to blame on coahces rather than on missing quality upfront.
