This will be huge, huge, huge.

I predict a draw, 1-1.

I've often wondered about this ...

As far as I know the break up of Czechoslovakia was a peaceful split, but how strong is this rivalry? Like, is it spiteful or relatively friendly? Also, how many times have the two nations met in official competition since the split?

It's spiteful. We don't like them, they don't like us. At least, in my opinion.

As for the matches between us: First match was a 1-1 draw, second match we won 2-1, third match we lost 0-3, fourth match we lost 1-4.

Although the Czechs have also two FCN players in it I would love to see Slovakia win that game and make it to EURO 2008 in the end. If Marek Mintal plays again that good as against Cyprus you should have good chances on Wednesday.

Yes, very disappointing result. I really thought you could get at least a draw, but in no way such a heavy defeat.

How did Sebo play? Less said about Sionko the better?

A young Rangers debutant was preparing himself in the dressing room.

Bobby Shearer asked "How are you feeling son?"

"Well to be honest, I'm feeling a bit nervous Mr. Shearer," he replied.

Bobby's retort was simple, "Son, when you pull that blue jersey over your head, it's the other team that feels nervous!"

I am Slovak, and I was referring to your country.

I say that this thread should be closed, moved and deleted.

Throw it into a dumpster somewhere. Perhaps to Prague, there's plenty of trash there.p

Bad result, but I think Czech Republic was much better, wednesday (I was in the stadium).

Slovensko will be better next match, I'm sure

Teams I like: Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia), Peńarol (Uruguay), Chicago Fire (USA), Volgar Gazprom Astrakhan (Russia), Vannes (France), Dundee FC (Scotland), Arsenal (England) and Hammarby (Sweden).
