CL Matchday 2: Real Madrid - Dynamo

So, two weeks of grieve is ahead of us... And then its the mightly Galakticos in Madrid
Both teams lost their opening games and were looked very unconvincing... 1:4 at home to Steaua for us and 0:2 away to Lyon for RM, while it should've been at least 0-5 after the first half. Thats how bad Canavaro and Co were in France!
I really hope they can continue this poor defending come the end of the month! we should have our two main strikers back. How match fit will they be after missing 3 months of action is questionable, but I doubt we'll have any choice but take a chance with them.

Finally, some previous meetings stats:

1972-73 Champions League 1/4 - Dynamo-Real 0:0
1972-73 Champions League 1/4 - Real-Dynamo 3:0
1998-99 Champions League 1/4 - Real-Dynamo 1:1
1998-99 Champions League 1/4 - Dynamo-Real 2:0
1999-00 Champions League Group - Dynamo-Real 1:2
1999-00 Champions League Group - Real-Dynamo 2:2
2004-05 Champions League Group - Dynamo-Real 2:2
2004-05 Champions League Group - Real-Dynamo 1:0

So played 8 games: we won 1, drew 4 and lost 3...
In Madrid we played 4 games, 2 draws and 2 defeats...

Real haven't got a chance!

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

Well the lasat three times that Dynamo was in Madrid they realy give a fight to Real,1-1 in 99,2-2 in 2000 and lost unluckly two years ago,0-1.....

But now i don't know what to expect,Rebrov is out,Rotan no one knows, and can kleber and milevsky return and wth will be the Cb's!?,i only can think about Sablic, gavrancic and Vaschuk at the moment.

In my time of following Uke football I dont remember so many injuries at the same time to so many players, do you?
And I mean the curse doesnt just end... As soon as one player recovers, another gets injured the next game... Rotan and Rebrov had great starts to the season and look at them: Rotan getting injured before the Steaua game (if the doctors decide on the surgery he might be out for quite some time), Rebrov during the game... Who's next??? And when will this crap end???

P.S. I actually dont think the two Colombians, bought on loan, would've come to Kyiv if it wasnt for these injuries!

Rotan had a great start to the season? where was i? last time Rotan had a good start Ukraine was still trying to qualify for the WC.

as far as this game. yeah, real looked really bad in france, should have been 6-0 in the 1st half really, with 4 100% chances lyon just had bad luck not to score. but this is canavaro we're talking about. he wont have games like this every time. i would normally say dynamo has a fighting chance, but after that Steaua game, its hard to make any predictions.

Haha, you realy should have seen the Southampton game Yesterday. 12 minutes of injury time. About 6 injuries, three of them had to be subbed off. The original injury time was supposed to be 9 miuntes, but players kept getting injured in injury time.
I thought they were made of china by the end of the half.

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

Sablic needs to play, or else you will see twice as many goals conceded

Maybe Dynamo can do something in Madrid...an earlier goal, who knows than.

But the defense looks very poor as the keeper.

No.. We have two channels showing CL games...

"TLN" its "Tele Latino" for "Latinos" p so they always show the Spanish teams games... On that day they chose Real Madrid - Dynamo..... www.tlntv.com

And we have "TSN"...They show 1 game each match day.. Dynamo was on there, but only because they played big clubs (Inter Milan, Real Madrid in 2004...).. www.tsn.ca...

Actually in 2004 I saw both Dynamo vs Real Madrid games

We actually have a 100% Football channel, called "GOL TV"... But its Spanish.. So it always shows some shit from El Salvador or Honduras...Bolivia.. Guatamala... p
